Two commissions available from Nadia this month. If you see them marked as sold out, just email us to be added to the waiting list!
Nadia Nizamudin works primarily on textile, using paint, embroidery and found images. Her work references themes of sadness and loss, but always refracted through bright colours and strong paint strokes.
Nadia is a fascinating woman: an artist, a mother and also an instrument engineer in the oil and gas industry. When you hold her work in your hands it is a special moment. You can see up close how the bold brushstrokes and embroidery details simply leap out from the linen; it is a joy to behold.
Find out more about Nadia's practice and various travelling studios in our blog: Not Your Usual Studio Visit.
Nadia will create a small textile piece for you, which will be framed and ready to hang. Please note that her work usually takes 6-8 weeks to create. We've included examples of previous commissions here, but please remember that what you receive will be a complete surprise!

"Before Subject Matter I would never have thought about being an
art-buyer. It felt like a world I didn't understand and didn't belong
in. You have opened my eyes!"
Cheryl | London
"I was amazed by the buying experience. I was contacted right after I confirmed the purchase and was taken care of all the way to the delivery, and even after. Never had such a friendly and professional service when buying a piece of art."
