Caroline Fraser (b. 1957, Nairn)
Caroline's work reflects her own therapeutic desire to seek solace in the natural world. Photography is a means to express her love for nature and the peace that she finds when exploring wild places; a very personal response to recovery from illness in 2004. She works predominantly in wild open places such as the Scottish Highlands, New Zealand’s South Island and most recently, Greenland.
Caroline has exhibited with Subject Matter in numerous exhibitions, including in both Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur. She became an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, thanks to the work she created in the Hebrides (exhibited here). She has also published a number of books and poems through her own publishing house, Hawkwood Press.
