Kaylan Buteyn - Abstract Painting And Collage

£235.00

Two commissions available from Kaylan this month. If you see them marked as sold out, just email us to be added to the waiting list!

Kaylan is an artist, curator, founder of the Artist/Mother Podcast and founder of Stay Home Gallery & Residency. Kaylan's work is intuitively based around colour, and her practice is informed by themes of motherhood, personal growth and identity. She plays with abstracted versions of natural forms such as mountains and trees, nodding to all the many things mothers do in their lives: cultivate, care, climb, surmount, change.

We love everything she does - podcasting, curating, but her work as an artist is something special. Her art speaks to us, almost as though she tells a million stories through colour and shapes.

Kaylan will create either a small painting or collage, whatever you prefer. Examples of both are on this page, however what you receive will be a complete surprise.

The painting will be around 20cm x 25cm (8" x 10"), and the collage slightly larger. Both will be unframed, but the painting will be stretched and mounted, ready to hang.

"Thank you for putting together your vision, bringing such fantastic
people together and for now adding to my home with such a fantastic
piece, for which I am very grateful!"

Sophie | Munich

"Before Subject Matter I would never have thought about being an
art-buyer. It felt like a world I didn't understand and didn't belong
in. You have opened my eyes!"

Cheryl | London

"I was amazed by the buying experience. I was contacted right after I confirmed the purchase and was taken care of all the way to the delivery, and even after. Never had such a friendly and professional service when buying a piece of art."

Olivier | Shanghai
