Steven Siegel's pictures of 1970s and 80s New York City and its surrounding boroughs may look completely unrecognisable to many but Siegel's photos present an authentic and bygone New York. This series represents a New York City that no longer exists, the pre-”Disney-fied” Times Square with its XXX theaters and Evangelical protestors.
NY Street Portrait 3 (1978)
This is a portrait of a man playing chess in Washington Square Park in Manhattan. The outdoor chess tables in the park attract chess players from all over the city to test their skills against some of the best.

We recommend a black hardwood frame.
