David Stetson launched his career as a fashion photographer in '60s London, later establishing his own studio in New York. Currently residing in Tokyo, David's outstanding body of work includes portraits of Sophia Loren, Alfred Hitchcock, Rie Miyazawa and the late Princess Diana. He has also been behind extensive campaigns and commercials for many luxury brands as well as shooting for worldwide magazines including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and Harper's Bazaar. He is a truly global name, having been exhibited in galleries in London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore and Cologne.
Artist's Statement: "In my fine art photography, I play with the notion of reducing the subject matter to an almost pure abstract form. Although the images in this collection appear strikingly simple, the effect is only achieved by close attention to detail and composition."
